The Cave Creatures are various types of monsters found in the activity Cave Runner in Math Blaster Episode 1: In Search of Spot in the depths of the Trash Alien's Planet. Those creatures can be found in the moderate and hard levels of gameplay. Getting rid of them requires a specific item from a chest found in the same cavern one of the creatures dwells in. In the SNES and Genesis versions however, creatures are tackled with a freeze ray and there are a few new additional creatures.

Bug Monster[]
A red-skinned, six-legged and four-eyed monster, which crawls around some platforms of caverns. They can be repelled by bug spray. In the console versions, they also appear on the surface of the planet in the activity "Math Blaster".
Cave Spider[]
A spider with blue head, green abdomen and black legs, which spins webs in certain gaps of the caverns. Their webs can be removed with a pair of scissors. They do not appear in the console versions.
Cave Bat[]
A blue bat with fangs and no visible limbs, which flies around certain areas of the caverns. They can driven away with a flashlight.
Cave Hopper[]
A green-skinned, three-eyed monster with a single pod and fangs, which hops around some platforms of caverns. Found only in the console versions.
Cave Hornet[]
A green-eyed and insect with yellow and black stripes on its body. It flies around certain areas of the caverns. Found only in the console versions.
Cave Worm[]
A brown, three-eyed worm with a green under belly. It crawls around certain areas of the caverns. Found exclusively in the SNES version.
