Spot is Blasternaut's galactic robot buddy. In Math Blaster Plus he appears as a simple robot on a single wheel. In future games, he appears as a floating droid. Like a faithful pet, Spot helps Blasternaut on all his missions. However, he sometimes complains of too much work. His jet propulsion unit allows him to hover and fly around places and the single antenna on his ahead allows him to send and receive messages.
In Math Blaster Episode 1: In Search of Spot, he is kidnapped by Trash Alien and taken to its secret planet, likely so that Trash Alien can satisfy his bondage needs. When the player arrives on the planet, Spot is in Trash Alien's Ship, restrained with chains and gagged with a piece of grey cloth. However Blasternaut is able to follow and rescue Spot from the Trash Alien's clutches.
In Math Blaster Episode 2: Secret of the Lost City, he aids Blasternaut and Galactic Commander to uncover the secrets of the lost city and drive the new and improved ship to repel Dr. Minus' invasion forces.
In Math Blaster ages 4-6, he helps out in the Trapezoidia Rocket Factory in the Plustwo Galaxy. He is somehow smaller and younger and speaks in more robotic voice.
In Mega Math Blaster, he is captured by the Gelator, who wants Spot's knowledge to master mathematics.
After Blaster and GC were redesigned in 1998, He was dropped and replaced by MEL.
